The many facets of my site … and me

It’s all a transition! You’re bound to see the various facets of me as you interact with this site and my social media platforms — especially on Pinterest! I’ve had a lot of hobbies over the years:

  • Cross-stitch, Crocheting, and crafts :: my love for crafts started young and I’ve tinkered with them for years since — in varying formats.
  • Graphic Design :: one of my many hats in non-profit work. Found I truly enjoyed it and tend to gravitate toward cool fonts and unique designs.
  • Jamberry :: Short-lived hobby! {and helping a friend} Definitely a hobby … I mean, have you seen my nails!?!
  • Posh :: Hobby and fun side hustle — still love the products, just not the hustle. LOL
  • Craft Therapy :: HOBBY … THERAPY … and maybe a side hustle! 🙂 Mostly, I just love crafting, making things, and getting together with other folks for craft time. Join us on the page to see when our next craft night is going to be held.

Interesting Tidbits:

Website Design & Development:
Designing sites started out as a by-product of being an office manager for a non-profit in Nashville, Tennessee (you need to be a “jack-of-all-trades” in the non-profit world to help make resources go farther) and grew into a full-fledged hobby from there.

I’ve created and maintained sites for food bloggers, churches, Girl Scouts, and more. Currently, it’s back to hobby status and I couldn’t be happier. I pick and choose projects to help with and tinker as I see fit.

Pastor:
Yup! I’m licensed, ordained, and church is a HUGE part of who I am. For nearly 30 years, I’ve been serving others in some form of ministry and am always amazed that I get to help others in this capacity.

What’s with the  ??

Well  … I’ve adopted the cookie image because my nephews nicknamed me “Cookie” when they were young and over 18 years later it’s still what they call me. Even my friend, Paula, will refer to me as Cookie or Cookielicious, and it sorta seemed appropriate to have a cookie as my ‘mascot’ to pay homage to my favorite {not so little} fellas.

Is that it?
Nah, but you’ve made it this far … figured you deserved a break!
